RO Training Guide / Recap
Congratulations! You are now on the Recruitment Leadership team! Please utilize this guide to train newly promoted RO’s or as a recap if you are a current RO! If you have any questions, please reach out to any of your peer RO’s or RL’s!
- First, ensure that an RL or the RM has given them their Recruitment Officer tag, and that they can now see the Recruitment Officer channel in the Interoffice discord!
- Next, you are going to want to add them to the RO Roster, and send the link to them.
- Get the new RO’s email from them, click on the share button on the top right, enter their email in and make sure they are labeled as an “Editor”.
- Next, you will want to make sure that you change their “RM” tag, to the left of their name, to “RO” on the Roster tab of the sheet and drag them up to below the now second newest officer.
- You are then going to grab their discord ID and go into the #rank-commands channel inside of the public discord, and give them their Recruitment Leadership role. Ensure they can see #recruitment-logs inside the public discord after doing so.

- Now that they are able to see all the channels they need to, and have access to the RO+ roster, guide them through each tab of the roster. Explain in detail what each tab is for, and how to use them properly. After that, go over officer productivity and how each one can be claimed appropriately. Give them the RO Productivity form, and show them how to use the Roster Manager as well. You should go over:
- Inform them that they are able to hover over the names of the prod on the bi-weekly productivity tab and it will tell them exactly what needs done to claim each type of prod.
- After going over all of that, take them through the process of training a new Recruitment Member and send them the Recruitment Member Training Guide. This is extremely important, so make sure you give as much information as possible to the new RO.
- Inform them that their training must be thorough, and that it must cover EVERYTHING so the new Recruitment Member is prepared.
- You are now going to want to inform them that they are the first step in the Recruitment Members chain of command. They are responsible for making sure the Recruitment Members are hitting their quota, and ensuring the team is running smoothly.
- Speak from your experiences as an RO, and give them any and all helpful tips you can think of to ensure they are fully prepared for their role as a Recruitment Officer.
